Question: so when I force a 1/2 a smile, if that makes sense, lol, I have some facial twitching. Not convulsions, it only happens when I do the half smile thing. Lately, I have also been experiencing A LOT of anxiety. I have some headaches, over the eye pressure. Random twitches in muscles, Do you think I could have a brain tumor? Going to the neurologist Weds but wanted a heads up on what I could possibly expect.

Brief Answer:
Brain tumor very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

I don't see any relation between your symptoms and any brain tumor.

Conditions to consider that may cause facial muscles twitching include abnormal levels of electrolytes in blood, anxiety and stress disorder, and in rare cases, may be a sign of demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis etc.

I think that Neurologist's evaluation and examination will give the necessary data to achieve a correct diagnosis and to order necessary tests.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards.
