Question: Hi, My Mother is about 60 years and having 85 kg weight. she reported severe abdomen pain few days back. Then now also, mild pain in abdomen continues. She is having:
Fatty Lever - Report attached
2 stones in Gallbladder 18mm each. - Report attached
She is having High BP also for last 6 months
What medicines should be given? Remove gallbladder immediately or wait. Is fatty liver curable?

Ans-1-Dear-following medicines- could prevent surgery or could be used to prepare body-before surgery
a-Cholestyramines and statins-to reduce dyslipidemia
b- and Urso-deoxycholic acid to dissolve gall stones with cholesterols-fats.
Exercises/low fat diets would be giving added benefits.
Q-2-Remove gallbladder immediately or wait.
Ans-2-With the above medicines trial you can plan studied surgery/ or even could avoid surgery with diet restrictions and gyming.
Q-3- Is fatty liver curable?
Ans-3-Reversal of Gr-II diet is possible with meticulous
diet and lifestyle changes with statins and cholestyramine resin intake under expert cover.Degree of damage would decide the time period of its recovery and extent of recovery with preventive treatment suggested.
Fibroscan and Liver profile tests-would be needed to assess extent of corrective efforts and would assess the duration for such corrective efforts.
