Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxx,

I understand your concerns.

1. Can you provide a photo of your toes and sebaceous cyst you have? So, I can analyze them and get a better idea of your current problems?

2. Can you also tell if you have done any test so far: examination of toe scrapping to determine the final diagnosis?

3. Was the treatment prescribed by your doctor or you have followed OTC meds?

4. Can you please give the names of meds you have tried so far?

Generally, when fungal infection is affecting the big toes, that is difficult to treat. Although you might have use lots of topical treatment, that is not enough because their medications find it difficult to penetrate the nail and destroy the fungus.
Furthermore, it will take some time for the nail to get fully recovered after infection.

In such cases a combination of oral and topical anti-fungal therapy is required. The most prescribed meds are :
- oral terbinafin taken daily for at least 2 weeks to 6 months or 1 year
- local terbinafin lotion applied on the bed of toe
- I also prescribe gentian violet solution for a better effect

Keeping a good hygiene of your feet, especially of your toes, wearing cotton stocks can also help.

Looking forward to have the requested photos in for a more specific answer regarding fungal infection of your toes and sebaceous cyst.
