Brief Answer:
Symptomatic treatment suggested, throat swab if no relief

Detailed Answer:
Hello, greetings!
Thanks for posting your query on hcm. It looks like you maybe suffering from the viral flu/ bacterial infection. Please follow these guidelines:-
1. Drink plenty of fluids and warm water.
2. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg 3 times a day in case of fever.
3. For running nose, you may take hot steam inhalation along with otrivin nasal spray 2 times a day. I usually also recommend my patients Tablet Sinarest twice a day after food for 3 days.
4. If your cough is dry and is not accompanied with any sputum then you may continue with Lasma AB-200, but if your cough is accompanied with sputum you may take Ambroxol cough syrup, a tablespoon 3 times a day.
4. As you have started with Tablet Zifi-200, you may continue the same twice a day for a total period of 5 days.
5. Gargle with betadine gargles 3 times a day accompanied with saline water gargling in the night.

If cough persists after a period of 1 week, then a throat swab test maybe required to ascertain the nature of infection.
Hope this helps you. If you have any further queries/ clarifications, please feel free to ask me.
Regards,
Dr. Sonia

Brief Answer:
Change antibiotic, symptomatic treatment same

Detailed Answer:
Hello, greetings!

If your wife hasn't started any antibiotics, I would recommend you to start her on a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid (Amoxiclav) for 5 days. As this is a prescription drug, you may obtain a prescription for this at a local doctor.

She can continue with Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg thrice a day in case of fever.
For running nose, she may take Tablet Sinarest and Otrivin nasal spray twice a day after food for 3 days.
For cough, she may take Syrup Ambroxol- 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.

Also, betadine and saline water gargles will help.
Hope this was of help to you.
Regards,
Dr. Sonia
