Brief Answer:
Steroid eye drops are required for treatment of episcleritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I am Dr. Dadapeer an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history and the reports attached with the question.

The reports show episcleritis. Steroid eye drops are required for treatment of episcleritis.
Hence the treatment started initially was in right direction.

Steroid eye drops if used for long time can cause problems like increase in intraocular pressure. Since it has been checked and is in normal range no need to be worried.

The steroid eye drops needs to be tapered and stopped as advised by your second doctor.

Hence the treatment was in right direction and no need to be worried.

Washing the eye with water will not cause any problem.

Hope this answers your question.

Thank you
