I had it for close to a month, at first I thought it was a reaction to a body wash liquid i used to masturbate but I'm getting worried about it.
I've never had any ulceration before noticing the scab but what i do noticed was the skin around my scrotum area were peeling off due to reaction of the body wash liquid i used to masturbate
No I don't have any trauma
Its not itchy and painful but when i peel off the scab and take a shower, i feel a sting. on a scale to 100 in terms of itching and pain, i will say 2% and I also don't feel any pain urinating
I have never had any unprotected sex
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Could be an irritant reaction to body wash

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

Thanks you for the additional history.

From your history, I would consider the possibility of an " Irritant contact dermatitis " to the body wash you have been using.

Body wash and soaps have surfactants/ detergents and when used directly over delicate body parts like the genitalia, they tend to irritate the skin and cause a irritant or " burn- like" reaction.

There is nothing to worry.

Apply a cream containing 1 % hydrocortisone 3 times a day for 10 days. It should subside.

Thereafter, use a moisturizer like a bland oil ( paraffin or olive oil without any added colors/fragrances) on the scrotum and glans penis 2 times a day for about 2-3 weeks.

Do not use the body wash liquid directly over those areas.

Hope this helps you.

Take care.

Wishing you good health,
Dr. Johny Chacko
