Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On The Glans Penis
Question: Hi Doc, about 2 weeks ago, I noticed 2 shiny red spot on my clan. This is after9 days I had oral with my wife and the day after I had masturbated in a somewhat dusty environment.
These red spots manifolded and grow further and spread over about a inch size...
In the beginning, it was slight itchy and was having slight burning sensation.
I showed this to GP and he suggested me to apply topical antifungal cream with hydrocortisone...
And the spots disappeared in about 3 to 4 days time.
And I didn't have pain, itchyness, burning sensation etc after that..
I stopped applying the cream.
But later after a day or two, the red spot appears and grow again with wet, shiny look.
Am worried much. Can I have oral with my wife with this condition now?

Human mouth, genitals and gut can have yeast as a normal flora. So your problem of red spots over the glans penis following oral sex with your wife could possibly be either due to yeast infection or an allergic reaction to the saliva.
The external application alone may not be sufficient in most cases and you may need a oral (systemic) treatment to achieve a total cure. So contact your physician and complete the treatment. Sometimes your wife also may need to be treated to avoid recurrence through oral sex.
If it is due allergic reaction to saliva protected oral contact is to be followed.
