Suggest Treatment For Recurring Vaginal Yeast Infection

default
Posted on Tue, 21 Apr 2015
Question: For the past two weeks ive been dealing with a yeast infection of the vagina. It is the first time ive had one. It is going back and forth, hasnt been as horrible as it first was. Then a week ago I developed these scabs under my breast at the same time as the yeast infection below. Its under my left breast. What do i do? This seems like a candida issue? What does this look like to you? It is extremely itchy, and if i scratch it it will feel good during scratching, and then begin to hurt a lot. So i dont scratch there. My vagina still has some cheesy yeast, which went away but came back after traveling. It started as a boil, i believe. Thank you. :)

Brief Answer:
You should exclude STI

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.

As per your report it may be a yeast infection associated with Herpes simplex infection.
Small ulcers on your genitals seems that have no relation with the small lesions created from scratch.
And it seems more as a herpes infection while it have started as a boil.
Hence go for a pelvic examination to exclude Herpes infection.
While you have cheesey like discharge and itchy areas on your breasts, yeast infection should be treated for a long period with oral therapy.
For the moment until you go for examination try with Sitz baths 3 to 4 times per day and use over the counter creams contain steroids and antifungal .

Brief Answer:
Superposition of bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and thanks for trusting to us.

If you have excluded Herpes simplex infection by per vaginam examination ,it may be a superposition of bacterial infection after intense itching from yeast infection.

Hence to treat this issue you should start to use local antifungal therapy adding local steroids ,with antifungal oral therapy as yeast infection can spread to another part of the body as breasts.
For the symptoms you are having on breasts try to keep them dry and use creams containing antifungal antibiotic and steroids.
While you have need for oral therapy ,it should be prescribed form your doctor as they won't be available as OTC drugs.
