Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fever And Loose Motion In A Child

Question: Hello Doctor,
my question is with regards to my son who is 4.
5 yrs old. he generally have fever in almost every 2-3 months during change of weather. some 4 days back he had again fever and had loose motion with pain in belly. we consulted a pediatrician (Indore, M.p.) . during his routine check he found some hard lymphs near his neck and as per him it is primary lymphadenopathy and it occurs in almost 40% of kids. and it hampers growth of child as well as general immune system of kid gets weeker and due to this he falls I'll frequently. he suggested to have test of x-ray of chest, , stool, montouxs test of skin, , blood test having pcv, e.sr. we have done the tests as per test reports montouxs test induration is 15 mm( dose of 5TU, duration 48 hrs)of bloods pcv is 40.3%, e.s.r is 25 mm at end of 1st hr, xray shows some minor presence of cough in right chest though the written report says it is clear. the doctor has advised to take medication for next 6 months. he hasn't written medicine for same. note- my wife had lymphatic t.b. and has been cured in last year only.

Hello,
I have gone through all reports.
In view of recurrent fever, lymphadenopathy, x Ray features, montoux and family history, ATT may be added.
The dose is according to weight of child.
Diet rich in protein and carbohydrates should be taken. Foods like milk, pulses, vegetables, fruits should be preferred.
Visit a pediatrician for treatment prescription and regular follow up.
