Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Foot

Question: I have some kind of skin infection that has started with the base of my big toe and has now spear to the toe next to it. It started as a rash went to a bigger rash and I soaked my foot in some disinfectant and it seems to only help temporarily.. the following days have determined to be growing slowly with skin becoming dry and flaky.. what are my option before going to hospital? And what are my possible illnesses?.

It appears from the description that the infection is spreading. So you should not delay the treatment any further. I would recommend immediate examination by a doctor and starting treatment.

If you can upload a pic I can give you some idea what it is. But apart from infection, it can be dermatitis or allergic too.
