Question: I'm the person that constantly shaves on a daily basis so I'm worried that my vagina looks weird now because of it does something look wrong with it? could this be folliculitis happening from the constant shaving because every time I shave I happen to get this bumps all the time I shave mostly everyday and I don't really change my razor a lot can someone please help?

and my mons pubis and around the vulva area seem to be super dry and I'm not sure why? is there a reason for this ?

not the vulva I mean the outer vagina lips

Brief Answer:
Avoid shaving in different directions

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for writing to us on HCM.
I have gone through your case history and clinical picture.
It seems you have developed pseudofolliculitis over your genital area.
Vigourous shaving especially in different directions and angles can lead to a impingement of hair root opening ( same or adjacent opening ) by uncut hair and thus this blockage can lead to folliculitis like lesions and to rough and dry texture.
As such its not a very serious condition and thus there is nothing much to worry about.
Follow the common tips in future to prevent such problem:
1. Always use a good shaving foam to make hair softer before shaving.
2. Use warm water for rinsing while shaving
3. Avoid shaving in different directions and use freah blade to avoid excess pressure while shaving.
4. Avoid daily shaving if possible.
5. Apply an antibiotic cream like fusidic acid immediately after shaving.
6. Avoid excessive washing of genital area with soap or cleanser.

Hope the information was useful.
Thank you
