Question: Greetings Doctor..
I would like to ask question related to my wife's health aged 30. She is of lately getting her menstrual cycle in 15 days. Also currently she has slight blood in urine her last cycle was on July 11. The presence of blood is very very slight and comes only when she urinates in morning. She has no stomach or back ache. What would be probable cause and should we consult a Gyno?
and we have already done laparotomy.
We are planning to go for a IVF after November.

Brief Answer:
probable UTI or spread of endometriosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.

Your wife is having slight blood in urine.
The probable cause could be UTI or endometriosis.
Is there burning or itching during urination?

Kindly mention why did she undergo laparotomy?
What is the status of endometriosis at present?
Is she taking any drugs?

I would advise you to first go for complete urine examination.
Also, MRI pelvis will help to determine the spread of endometriosis, if any.

Do consult your Gynecologist and discuss these issues.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Regards.

Thanks Doctor XXXXXXX .....

Today it is normal and she din't complain of any bleeding. Does increase heat in body can cause this?

She actually had cyst in ovaries and here ovaries are stuck to pelvis (I remember doctor said Frozen pelvis or something like that) so that he had to do a lapratomy as it was not possible by laproscopy.

After lapratomy we tried with medications to conceive naturally but no luck. So we have now decided to go for IVF. Also here egg counts are less she has a AMH of 0.5

Currenlty she is not on any medication. Because for atleast 3 years she was on medications. So we decided to take a break before we go for IVF. Its being 1 year we are not on medication.

Brief Answer:
body heat does not cause this.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Sorry for late response.

I do not think increase in body heat could cause this. It should resolve on its own.

Yes frozen pelvis is the condition in which the pelvic organs stick together and to pelvis walls.

Since medications did not help in conception, its a good idea to go for IVF.

Hope all goes well for you.

Feel free to discuss further.

Take care.
Thanks.
