Suggest Treatment For Premature Ejaculation

Question: Hello Doctor,

Good Morning. I have problem of premature ejaculation. Thus i have taken cipla suhargara force 50 mg which extended the course for 3-4 hrs. I have taken that medicine on 1st XXXXXXX 2016. I am feeling pretty normal no issues. I am planning to take it today also. Just wanted to know is it ok to take within gap of 2 weeks. I dont have any heart related or allergic to anything.. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for writing to us.

Suhagra contains 50 mg sildenafil while suhagra force contains sildenafil plus dpeoxetine 30 mg. Please clarify which one you have taken.

Silldenafil is 5-PDE inhibitor group of medicines. It is proven drug for male erectile dysfunction. It should be used 2 hours prior to sex. It causes headache, stuffy nose nausea and gastric discomfort like common side effects. Proper physical check-up of cardiac system should be done by a doctor before starting the same. These are prescription medicines and you need to consult doctor/psychiatrist/sexologist for the prescription. It is not indicated for premature ejaculation (PME).

Treatment for PME:

Medicines:
Clomipramine and paroxetine are choice of medicines which are used as antidepressants (For depression dose is higher).
I prefer clomipramine for PME. No significant side effects with these medicines. Initially say for 0-30 days daily after dinner and later on just on the day when you do the sex.
Paroxetine is more potent but it may cause side effects like headache, gastric discomfort, giddiness and sedation. In patients with blood pressure it should be used in consultation with physician/cardiologist.

One molecule called depoxetine has been used specifically for PME and should be taken before 2 hours of sex when required.
These medicines are prescription medicines and you need to consult doctor/psychiatrist/sexologist for prescription.

So if you have only PME you need only depoxetine or clomipramine. As such these are very safe medicines and you can take at gap of 2 weeks but better to take the prescription of a doctor. By chance any side effect occurs doctor can help immediately.

Hello Doctor

thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I have taken cipla suhagara force 50mg and the constituents of the tablet are Dapoxetine 30 mg + Sildenafil 50 mg. I m little bit shy of going to the doctor. Thats why taking online advice. Pl suggest on the basis of constituents of the medicine that whether I shud take it within gap of 2 weeks or is there any other medicine u advise. thanks a lot ..

You can take the drug only containing depoxetine 30 mg if you want to extent your period of ejaculation. You can take weekly one tablet. Ask chemist for the same.
If you want to go ahead with suhagra force you can take within gap of 2 weeks.
