Suggest Treatment For Premature Ejaculation

Question: I am married for 5 years and have one kid of 3 years. Of late I am experiencing Premature ejaculation. Earlier I could maintain for around 10 minutes after entering. Now it is hardly 2 minutes. I have gained slight weight ( 7 to 8 kgs) in this 5 years. Any possibility to restore that. I do lightweight exercise like walking and jogging. taking homemade food ( less chicken and mutton) not a smoker or drinker. I have stopped drinking 6 years back. physically I feel I am fit.

Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following points are worth mentioning:
A.

1. any performance anxiety, fear of rejection by partner or depression [unsatisfactory sexual experience]?

2. any history of diabetes [other endocrine causes are less common] or chronic alcohol intake,[although stopped 6 year back, thus what was previous duration?] which is/are root cause for the same or use of drugs especially water pill and/or anti hypertensive medications, and since you have gained weight is it due to sedentary lifestyle or one has to look for under active thyroid,impaired blood sugar
PS. to allay your anxiety, you should consult an Urologist or get Semen Examination done.
3. Take: mango, banana, coconut, water melon, pomegranate, raisins,dates, almonds, apple, pears, walnut, urad dal, carrots, apricots, amla, musk melon, bottle gourd, brinjal, potato, buffalo milk, milk cream, fresh curd, butter, onion
. Avoid: only and only 'clove' in any form.
4. Two very common features of men who consistently ejaculate rapidly: High sexual excitement and high psychological anxiety.
. Divert the mind to non-sexual activities like sports or business matters.
.Perineal Exercise:when there are partial erections, which cannot be maintained, practice perineal exercises. While urinating, stop the flow of urine\, start again, stop & start again 4-5 times.
5. If it is gross premature ejaculation thus first step is
i. Counselling: are there any other relationship problems not related to sex? Then solve them first.
ii. Ejaculation and Orgasm can be voluntarily controlled. You have to learn to recognize the sensations prior to orgasm and stop.

Stage I: Man is advised to masturbate himself, and when ejaculation is near, stop. Allow the erection to subside. Start again. Repeat this number of times before allowing ejaculation. Practice for 2-4 weeks.

Stage II: Learn the same with your partner.She will masturbate you near orgasm, stop when you indicate, wait for erection to subside, then start again.Repeat this a few times & then allow ejaculation. Practice for 2-4 weeks

Stage III: Follow the same method for intercourse, initially with female superior position and then with male superior position. The principle is to stop before ejaculation, wait for the erection to subside & then start again. Practice for 3-4 months, or more till perfect control is achieved.

PS. You may consult an Ayurveda Physician there for " Tantric Vajroli" which is a very easy, very effective method to have a full control over ejaculation

. Belly breathing: Lie comfortably on a bed, on your back. Loosen [if any] tight clothing. Place one hand on your abdomen and the other on your heart. Now take a deep slow breath that you can feel all the way down to your abdomen. Breathe as if you are drawing breath down through your body, into your legs and toes. This time tested exercise will help allay anxiety, increase the ability to relax and activate the benevolent energies of the parasympathetic nervous system. [duration: 10 minutes]

B. for increase in weight, initially:
DEVELOP HEALTHY EATING HABITS:
. Do not eat only 2 large meals a day. It leads to overeating due to hunger. Take snacks in between. It is advisable to eat a good breakfast and light lunch and dinner.
. Keep a quiet and pleasant atmosphere in the dining hall. Watching TV while eating, talking, arguments, angry discussions all lead to overeating.
. Eat slowly; chewing each bite thoroughly gives a feeling of satiation.
. Do not be tempted to finish up the leftovers.
. Use nonstick cooking ware for cooking

Avoid: sedentary lifestyle, day time sleeping after meals, newly harvested rice, curd, butter, ghee, cheese, cream, chocolates, cakes, pastries, ice-creams, XXXXXXX
potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, yam, nuts, fruits with sweet pulp like mango, chickoos, bananas and grapes, processed and tinned foods, opt for fresh foods
