Question: I had an eye injury due to an accident, I had orbital fracture, and double vision that got corrected after surgery. My vision in that eye is not good, I cannot read but I can see. I would like to know if and each surgery could help improve my vision, also the injured eye is enlarged and I would like to do something to eliminate the glare, and to shrink the enlarged pupil, something like .... Refractive surgery .... I would apreciTe some advice on the options that might work for me.

Iris contact lenses and pupilloplasty are the available options.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having poor vision in one eye following eye injury.
You are having glare in the eye because of dilated pupil as a result of injury.
The treatment options available to avoid glare are iris contact lens and pupilloplasty.
Iris contact lenses are good option as they decrease the light entering the eye and decrese glare. If these iris contact lenses are working then you can go for surgical methods like pupilloplasty or laser pupilloplasty.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor and do discuss with him and after examination you can decide upon the best option for you.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
