Question: I am 20 year old male, currently take Amphetamine based ADHD medication. I've recently noticed a few thin strands of white looking almost (worms). Could the Amphetamine based medicine be killing off any parasite I may have? Also was doing some research on the internet and the worm looking like strand I found in my stool looks a lot like a pin worm. All this information and the fact that this strand looked like a pinworm is stressing me out. Could it be a pinworms? and what would be the majority of symptoms? I currently have been experiencing a lot of gas and a minor discomfort sometimes in my lower abdominal area. And if so how would I get rid of them?

Okay well I did flush the stool but I will take a picture next time. It was thin strand about 1 inch long. There was maybe 2-3 strands I tried to see if it was something I could have ate but I'm not sure.

Brief Answer:
Undigested food

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Could be undigested food particles.
Next time if you see any, take a picture and post it here.
Amphetamine does not kill any parasite/worm.
Pinworm most often remain asymptomatic. It may cause symptoms like itching in the anal region.
For gas, you can take Beano.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
