Brief Answer:
Upload images

Detailed Answer:

Hello dear,
Thanks for writing to us.

Pimples appearing after shaving can either be allergic reaction or foci of folliculitis.

If you upload a good quality picture, that can help me in differentiating the two.

You have a feature to upload the reports / image by yourself at the right side of the query page, please utilize that so that I can answer your queries better.

Allergic pimples will be filled with clear fluid or no fluid at all. This need not any treatment if asymptotic and will resolve its own in few days. Anyhow, antihistamine like levocetirezine 5mg once daily and steroid creams for 5 days will speed up recovery.

Pimples from folliculitis are usually filled with yellowish fluid/pus. If this is not associated with pain/surrounding edema/redness, this just needs draining the pus with a clean needle and applying antibiotics creams (like mupirocin or povidone iodine) twice daily for 5 to 7 days. Otherwise we will need oral antibiotic too,for which your doctor will guide you.

Wishing you good health
Thank you.

Hey i have uploaded 3 images of the pimples there are only three as you can see one on top which is kinda flattened out now is because i squeezed it before and the skin kinda came off and now the new skin is coming out on that small area all these pimples are small not that big at all and no pain/itch or any symptoms of any kind also as i was taking the pictures as i mentioned before i did see a hair coming out of the pimple like a long hair so I honestly think it could be the ingrown hair situation but you can probably tell by looking at the pics last night before going to bed i applied some witch XXXXXXX and this morning after shower i applied neosporin (i will try neosporin 2-3 times a day and see if it goes away) let me know what you think please.

Brief Answer:
Folliculitis likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the pictures.

Though the pictures are not much clear, it shows three pus filled vesicles (one is already drained) with inflamed base. This indicates folliculitis (infection of the hair follicle) and need drainage of the pus followed by oral as well as topical antibiotics; neosporin is better applied after draining the pus.

So it will be fine if you can see your doctor without delay for further management.
Kindly avoid squeezing as this may cause spreading of the infection to surrounding area.

Be free to ask further questions if needed.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Need aseptic precautions

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I am sorry to say that there are two obstacles for this is managed at home.

Firstly, the pus definitely needs to be drained UNDER strict aseptic precautions (which is difficult at home).
Secondly, antibiotics cannot be prescribed online.

Only I can suggest you apply Neosporin.

So kindly see your primary doctor.
Regret for inconvenience.

Take care.
