Brief Answer:
Yes, get done allergy testing.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your son's situation and problem.
Possibility of allergic disease is more in his case, mostly asthma.
And foracort is good in this condition.
The most important step in allergic diseases is identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it.
Common allergens are dust, animal fur, smoke, pollens etc.
So identification of allergen is very important in his case.
And hence better to get done allergy testing.
Also get done serum total IgE level because this is also a marker of allergic disease.
Along with foracort, oral combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs is also helpful in his case.
So please let me know
1. Has he ever checked for IgE level?
2. Is he taking any other drug other than foracort?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your son's situation and problem.
He should definitely avoid milk and it's products, eggs and it's preparations.
The best treatment of allergy is identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it.
So he should definitely avoid milk and eggs in all forms.
Foracort and nasal sprays are good drug for allergic diseases.
Now a days, oral tablet containing combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs is available. It is also having good control over allergic symptoms.
So discuss about starting this drugs in his case with his doctor.

Brief Answer:
All these symptoms are of allergic disease only.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for lung cancer as his x ray is normal. Lung cancer is extremely uncommon in children. So don't think about lung cancer.
Possibility of heart disease is also very less because he is having normal sized heart on chest x ray.
But rarely congenital heart disease can cause similar symptoms like wheezing, breathing difficulty etc.
So please let me know if he had 2d echo done or not?
This allergy report is of which date?
