default
Posted on Thu, 19 Mar 2015
Question: I had a full hysterectomy last October. I am on minivelle .1. My sugary was for pelvic pain an excessive bleeding. Dr told me pathogy showed that my uterus was "crackly". Can't remember the med term. But that it was needed. Still a little pain but livable. My question is about feeling is about my a sensation I have. I feel like my skin is crawling and have since right before surgery. About the time I was I started perimenopaus. She has no idea what I am explaining or how to make it go away. She told me time would help with no explanation. Have been living with it for about 2 years now.Am I crazy? I know what I feel. Is it related or should I go to a neurologist? Or is it just part of it . How do I make it go away??? Any suggestions or advise would help!!! PLEASE. Thank you so much!

Brief Answer:
You have peripheral neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I understand your concerns about crawling under skin.

This appears to be peripheral neuropathy. I suggest you get fasting blood sugar and vitamin B 12 levels tested.

This is common in diabetic patients and vitamin B12 deficient patients. I will advice you further after seeing these reports.

This is not related to hysterectomy.

Let me know if you need any more clarifications.
