Suggest Treatment For Penile Pain

default
Posted on Wed, 2 Sep 2015
Question: Over the past number of months I have been bothered with pain in my penis, and it seems to be increasing in intensity. My regular urologist doesn't know what to make of this. Bladder or kidney stones have been ruled out, and there's no stinging or other pain when urinating. Surprisingly, this pain doesn't prevent erections; they're just really painful - as is ejaculation.
I have had kidney cancer, and am under treatment for prostate cancer (active surveillance) which - at latest report - is fully under control.
So, what could the problem be?

-Increasing Penile pain with Prostatic Cancer with?Invading prostatic Cance

Detailed Answer:
Provisional Diagnosis-Increasing Penile pain with Prostatic Cancer with?Invading prostatic Cancer Under investigation

Hi,Dear,Thanks for the query to HCM virtual clinic.
I studied your query meticulously and understood your concerns.
As your latest surveillance report of prostatic cancer is reported to be as" under control",the presence of unrelenting and increasing penile pain is very perplexing complaint,in this background.

Rule out any prostatic infection by clinical examination and by urine and blood examination with help of your ER Surgeon / or Urologist.
This is because this complaint of increasing penile pain indicates that the prostatic cancer is invading in the surrounding tissue and is not responding to current protocol of treatment.

I would advise you to get the MRI /PET-CT guided FNAC report and to consult ER Onco-Chemotherapist/and Pain therapy doctor team, who would be right doctor to treat this perplexing complaint,as the penile pain is increasing despite of the latest "controlled prostatic surveillance report".
I would advise YOU to consult a Pain therapy center who would plan for the relief of your increasing penile pain.

Hope this reply would guide you to plan for the treatment with your Urologist/Onco-Surgeon/Onco-Chemotherapist/and Pain therapy team of doctors.
Welcome for any further query in this regard to Me.
I would try to help you out of this perplexing health issue in time to come. You are welcome for any Direct query for more detailed planning in time to come.
