Suggest Treatment For Paranoid Schizophrenia

default
Posted on Tue, 10 Nov 2015
Question: I am a 55 year old paranoid schizophrenic patient for 31 years. I moved from one apartment to another around the block from where I lived for 15 years . I was so paranoid and scared. I feel much better when my finances are in tact and I have a vehicle to get me from one place to another. Where I live at in xxxxxxxx, the crime rate is very high. I am wondering if I can work at home and earn a substantial amount of income and move to a nicer and safer area, would I still be so scared to go out? As a young woman and teenager I automatically did things by myself. Like working on xxxxxx in xxxxxxx, going to college at night taking accounting, and getting my motorcycle license. I feel with my own analysis, if I can earn a decent salary and control my spending I can acquire the courage to move to another area in xxxxxxxx in the future. What do you suggest? Thank You.

Brief Answer:
Yes this should help

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern. A lot of patients of Paranoid Schizophrenia develop persistent fear and paranoid ideation. This is the reason you have paranoid ideation, you are changing the places etc. To come out of fear you have to re-assure yourself again and again. Changing the places should reduce the severity and this should result in reduction of paranoid ideation. Prooer treatment in form of antipsychotics help to reduce the symptoms completely.

Please don't remain distressed. Try to remain relaxed, everything will improve. You will regain courage to any part of city.

Thanks, Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again.
