Brief Answer:
Disc prolapse-primary treatment rest and analgesic

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Primary treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Rest is advisable in lateral position with both hips and knees flexed. Treatment depends upon symptoms, it doesn't not depend upon MRI report. It will be better to know about your symptoms. It is not life threatening. It can be treated well. It can be nearly 100 percent treated. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.

Brief Answer:
Rest and analgesic is treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
It is not related to brain. It is related to lumbar spine . In the spine there are vertebrae (bones) and between them there are intervertebral disc. In your case disc between fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae is protruding out. This leads to pressure over spine cord and nerves. After few weeks of rest pressure by disc will decrease and your pain is likely to relieve. Your symptoms are mild. You need analgesic(you are taking lupirtin) and bed rest. Your treatment is ok but rest is very important . You are advised rest in already described position. At present nothing more is needed. No second MRI is needed. You will be better in the care of a orthopedician. You are advised to avoid bending and weight lifting etc.

Rest already discussed.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Brief Answer:
Same drugs and rest may be required.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

After three months same drugs as you are taking may be needed if you have symptoms and pain. It can be treated by rest and analgesic and does not require operation at present condition. It generally doesn't cause paralysis. Your left hand pain is not related to it. You will get well like normal person but you need to be careful not to lift weight and stress your back more for nearly a year.

Hope your query get answered. if you have any clarification then I am happy to help you. If not, then you can close the query and rate the answer.
