Posted on Fri, 16 Sep 2016
Question: hello. have been dealing with horrible symptoms for close to a year. heart palpitations, chest pain, headaches, weight loss, water in the knee , lots of bad joint pain. my kidney constantly has a sharp pain and it won't go away. my neck is so stiff I can hardly move my head side to side. if I press the back of my skull it feels as though it is going to pop or Crack, a truly weird feeling. I have seen a cardiologist and they did most tests. the heart monitor showed extra heart beats so he wants to do an angiography to be safe. I did all gastrointestinal tessts, which were negative for anything. the rheumatologist ruled out RA but was positive for the hlab27. they were concerned with the headaches heart palpitations and weight loss so did a stomach CT. that showed inflamation which led to gastrointestinal tests. had very short of breath feeling. pulmonary doc said everything looked good with lung function and xray. I had a travel history in Peru and Argentina so I had a lot of blood work done for any virus or parasite and am still waiting . I need another opinion because I teuly.feel like something is killing me. my neck stiffness and feeling of cracking when touching the back of my skull are scary. it feels like something is really coming up my neck into my head.

I know this is a lot of info.but do you have any other ideas or help?

Brief Answer:
Primary diagnosis Rheumatic Heart Disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXX
Thanks for providing so much information regarding your health.
It helps me a lot to understand about health problem.
After review of all symptom the primary diagnosis is Rheumatic Heart disease(?).
Need to rule out the case after correlation with diagnostic finding.
I am sending you a article for RHD. you may go through in details so that you may correlate with disease.

http://www.seattlechildrens.org/medical-conditions/heart-blood-conditions/rheumatic-heart-disease/

stiffness, inflammation of large joint and weight loss is the indicative of RHD.
I would suggest you to visit a good cardiologist and take his opinion.
Hope this is clear to you
