Question: A segway fell on my leg six days ago. My leg (calf to my ankle) is still swollen and very bruised. It is very painful when I first get up and start to walk, and at the end of the day after I have been walking for a while. Once I start walking it stops hurting. How long does this last? Should I see a doctor?

Brief Answer:
Get an x-ray to rule out any bony injury.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

From description it seems to be soft tissue injury . It will take 2-3 weeks to heal.
You need an x-ray to rule out any bony injury.
I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
Beside icing and elevating it, you can take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more concern.

Warm Regards.
