Question: What would cause the top of your feet to swell and ache? They feel very tender and sore. Also my ankles and lower legs.

I've gone to a neuralogist, she said I have Carpel Tunnel in my hands, she said I have a lot of imflamation, maybe Fibromyalgia. She sent me to an Orthopedic Doctor,he sends me to a Rheumatoid Arthritis Doctor.I do get injections in my lower back, that helps some but it does'nt address everything.I don't know what kind of Doctor I should be going too.I just don't believe I should have to live like this.PLEASE help me with this.I want a better quality of life, instead of going in circles all the time. This interfear's with everyday life.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to heart liver or kidney issues !

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM-a health portal helping thousands of patients daily.

I appreciate your concerns. Agter carefully reviewing your case, it is obvious that you are suffering a lot.
This all seems to be due any of the causes below:
Liiver disease like cirrhosis.
nephrotic syndrome (kidney disease)
heart disease.
lungs issues
fluid overload.
Hypertwnsion.
Local blockage of lymphatic and blood vessels.

Your best next step is to contact in-person an Internal Medicine Specialist. He is trained personnel to manage such cases after careful evaluation and medications.

Your Internal Medicine Physician will decide if there is a need to refer you to a specialist like Urolgist or Cardiologist. If due to blood pressure issues your doctor can handle it by himself without referrals. Managememt goes according to the cause.

Hope it helps. Pleaae take care of yourself.
