Suggest Treatment For Painful Pus Filled Pimples On The Leg

Question: I have been getting these things that look like pimples on the left side of my leg and they hurt and fill hard, i also have like a rash by there were my leg meets my genitals on the inside of my leg, and also on my forskin and like blisters by the head of my penis, im extremely scared and concerned, just got back from a work trip so i couldn't seek medical attention

Can you please send a photo of the rash and pimples on the left side of your leg? And of course, I'd like to have a photo of your pelvis area (the part where your legs meets your genitals)?

I need to analyze the rash and pimples myself before running into final conclusions.

From what you are reporting so far, my thoughts go for possible jock itch (on your genitals) and fungal infection overall. However, the photo will help me give a more precise answer to you.

I need to have a few more details along with photos:
- is it hot where you live? or where you had the trip?
- have you used hotels utensils? or you were at your friends or family hosts?
- any previous history of rash? allergy? fungal infection?
- what about your toes? do you have rash there?
- any recent history of unprotected sexual habits?

it was warmer than were i live but it was only st XXXXXXX and i did use the hotel stuff, and the strange thing is i have had well what looks like the same pimples on my neck area, and on my foot i did have small blisters that wouldn't come all the way out, and as for sex i did have unprotected sex about 3 weeks ago

Hi back,

Thank you for providing the requested photos.

I have noted the ulcerated sores on your penis head. If small blisters have appeared first, then, breaking into sores, then, most probably it's a case of genital herpes. Confirmatory blood tests of measuring IgG and IgM for genital herpes recommended.

No photo of the blisters on the foot are received so far.

I'd highly recommend to consult with a dermatologist as soon as possible as you might need prescription medicines like antivirals to start.

For the moment, I advise to :
- keep your genitals well clean
- avoid friction especially when drying
- apply calamine lotion

until you see dermatologist.
