Suggest Treatment For Painful Pinched Nerve In The Back And Sciatica

Question: I have a pinched nerve in my back and sciatica. I have been on Prednisone since 12/17/16. How soon can I expect to see results? How long does the Prednisone usually take to kick in? I am on 60 mg per day.

Dr. Panwar, I am unable to find the disc from my MRI from 2014 due to retiring and moving a short while ago. I was told at the time that I had pinched nerves at two levels in my lower back and a diagnosis of spinal stenosis. The pain that I have radiates from my lower back to the front of my knee on the left side. I am unable to stand for any longer than 5 minutes without needing to sit down.
