Brief Answer:
Corn most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM...

I read history and saw photo you posted.

I can understand your concern for painful lesion on the sole. You seem to have corn most probably.

It is a tough lesion in which hyperkeratotic occurs in reverse conical pattern. There may be pain due to pressure. Sometime secondary bacterial infection occurs. Ilfitting hard insoled shoes, long time standing, barefooted walking..etc might trigger corn development. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Still, I would suggest as follow...

- application of salicylic acid 12% lotion like salactin twice a day on the lesion till the removal of the corn
- pain killer like nimesulide 200 mg twice a day till relief of pain
- antibiotic for one to two weeks
- vitamin A cap for long time
- use of soft insoled shoes
- avoidance of barefooted walk

After continuous long term treatment you might get good result. Have patience. Still any query, you may ask.

Thanks.
