Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Toe

Question: My left big toe is very painful when I walk. I have had this pain on and off over the past couple of years but this time the pain has been every day for about 2 months but mostly when I'm walking. Sometimes when sitting with only my toes resting on the ground I do get a very sharp pain in the joint as well. Is this something I should see my doctor about or just assume its arthritis or gout Thank you

Brief Answer:
It can be Gout or arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. Pain in great toe is mostly due to Gout and arthritis. Your X rays is showing that you have mild hallux valgus also. I would recommend you following.
1.Steroid injection in toe can help you. Orthopaedic doctor can give you this injection.
2..Avoid very tight shoes and staying on toes.
3.Arthroscopy debridement can be done.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
Thanks
