Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/62 - pain in pelvic area on dieting and drinking more fluids - - gurgle sometimes on drinking a lot of water - no hernia - prostate normal - no pain on urination ...

The part of the intestines in the pelvis is small intestine and sigmoid colon.
Your history is suggestive of some problem with these.
I would advise you the following:
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position, particularly when you have pain/pressure/gurgle to get the positive findings. X-ray at other times may be normal.
Tests of stool, blood.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen.
Contrast enhanced CT scan may be needed to confirm or rule out any problems as per the clinical evaluation and examination by a General Surgeon - get a reference for an early diagnosis and proper treatment.

I hope, this answer helps yo. Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
