Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Nipple Area

default
Posted on Tue, 12 Sep 2017
Question: Lately, I have been experiencing a sensitive pain near my nipple area (although it's really hard to find the exact area) mostly when I'm in the shower. I barely feel any pain when I'm not in shower. When I feel around , I don't feel lumps or pain. It's when I'm in the shower. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Can be inflammation of nipples.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A sensitive pain in the nipple area that you are feeling can be due to the stimulation of nipple due to hitting of water on it. Since there is no palpable lump or discharge from the nipple there is no need to worry.
In case the pain is persistent then you need to consult a doctor for a physical examination to rule out any infection or inflammation of nipples.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
