Brief Answer:
Ultrasound and color doppler only can tell to confirm.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted the history of Charley horse in your calf last night, leg still hurting today, wants to know whether to worry about DVT...

The basic differences between the two are:
In Charley horse the pain and tenderness is in the muscles only, do not cause redness, swelling of the leg or foot, usually gets relieved a bit by walking, pain may come and go.

In DVT: the pain may be present and when it comes it is throbbing or pulsating, deep in the calf muscle, there may be swelling and redness, there may be growing edema of the leg and foot.

Please see where your symptoms are fitting.
Ultrasonography with color doppler of the calf and leg is always indicated as this is the only mode to confirm or rule out DVT.

I hope this answer helps you in early and proper diagnosis and management.
Keep well hydrated.
