Suggest Treatment For Pain In Leg After An Injury

Question: I had total hip replacement several years ago. I also have degenerative disc disease for which i received a nerve block. Recently I tripped and twisted my leg. I am concerned that the pain I am experiencing is coming from a tear of some kind around my hip. I understand if the prosthetic had been dislocated (unlikely) I woyld be in much more excruciating pain. My ortho surgeon only concerned with the mechanics of prosthetic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.In the described injury there could only be muscle fiber or ligaments rupture,they heal of their own by rest for few weeks along with Ice fomentation and pain killer medicine. Physiotherapy also helps.
To rule out any joint problem and if problem persist; x-ray is recommended.
