Brief Answer:
essential- good sugar control

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Sooner or later, the diabetes always affects the nerves of a person. It is a natural physiology of the body and diabetes.

The point in diabetes is that a very good control of sugars is needed and is absolutely essential for you to get better.
A good control keeps the sugars in control. Thereby the toxic effects of high sugars on body cells are reduced.

I would really like to tell you that you need to discuss the tablet metoprolol with your treating doctor. It raises the sugars, even if marginally. There are many other new good drugs.

Also, I hope your thyroids are well controlled. they can cause similar symptoms as well.

Suggest FBS, PPBS, HbA1C.
Also NCV if not previously done.

Best of luck
