Question: Lately when I cough or sneeze I've been getting a pain in my chest like pickles that go all the way down my arms to my hands. It doesn't last very long but it does hurt and it doesn't happen every time I cough or sneeze. Can you tell me if I should be worried about this. Thanks XXXX

Brief Answer:
This is due to cough

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question in detail, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.

In my opinion you do not have to be worried it is common in cough and sneezing that ones lungs take a sudden jerk or sheink so they can pain plus the chest deflates quickly so rib joints and the nerves running to the arms can pain.

You do not have to worry about this, it is simple musculo skeletal pain.
Here are a few suggestions to get the healing process going more efficiently.

1) Don't panic there doesnt seem to be anything serious.
2) Most important thing to get rid of this pain is to get rid of the cough and for thay you have to cure the caugh of the cough you can take anyi allergic or and OTS cough syrup.
3 ) Steam inhallation will be of help too.
4) Try to avoid bitter and sour food materials.
5) You can use tylenol to relieve paine twoce a day this will releive pain and inflammation.

Dont worry this will subside with your cough.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
