Question: I have pain sometimes in my belly button area where my tubal was done years ago...does it have any meaning?

Thanks for contacting HCM fro your health care concerns.

You are concerned that you are having pain around the belly button where you had your tubal ligation. This pain is probably from scar tissue related to the surgery. This is common and is not of any clinical concern. Whenever we do surgery at the incision area scar tissue will form. This scar tissue can cause pain but will not indicate any other type of injury or disease.

I can reassure you that this is normal and expected from your tubal ligation.
