Suggest Treatment For Pain In Arm After Injury

Question: Greetings,

About two weeks ago, I did something that caused my shoulder to pop a little--It happened so fast that I cannot even recall the details, so I cannot remember even if it occurred upon my lifting anything or just merely turning quickly.
About three days later or there abouts I started experiences horrible pain in my neck, upper back and left shoulder. Eventually, my middle back and neck relaxed enough that each popped within 24 hours of each other, with the middle-upper back popping on more than one occasion.
Relief! Yes....but....Not completely. About a day or so after the great release, while I was still enjoying my body loosening up a bit, I began to have bad bad throbbing pain in my left elbow and forearm. It seems related somehow to my posture...or at least still my back, as I can have fairly long spells of time where I am relatively pain-free, then I'll go to stand and....the throbbing pain comes on like gangbusters.
I did some snooping around on the internet; it does seem possible it's related to an ulnar nerve based on the descriptions I've found and read about. Because it THROBS, I just wanted to double check that that sort of thing can indeed be related to a pinched nerve. It would be strange to have a vascular occurrence of limited location so soon after and actually within and overlapping my other recent unpleasant circumstance....Of course, you're the doctors, and you'd know better, thus I figured I'd ask.
Oh, also, the reason I say it seems it could be ulnar focused is because I do also experience pins and needles and some numbness in my last two fingers. Moving my arm, twisting at the elbow, even, does not cause me pain...Only certain movements of my upper torso and up (standing, leaning my head back, sitting upright--not reclined).
I've been using ice packs and Ibuprofen, and recently have been using a heating pad on occasion. I did get a wonderful backrub from a friend of mine when she was in town. I was on my back and she massaged my neck and upper back from her position above my head. She did some gentle pulling, but mostly just massaging the areas giving me grief. I was pain free for a day or so, then.....it came back when I got out of bed the next morning.

I can see no swelling or discoloration/bruising. No tightness in my arm, pain only from elbow down--no where else--but I'm glad of that because that is enough pain or me, thanks.

What can you tell me, please, about this? I really cannot afford any doctor bills or time off work, so I'm open to suggestions hopefully not related to medical bills or missing work hours....(but if that is truly the direction you'd prefer I go, I will consider it).

Thank you.

Thank you very much. I don't remember if I mentioned that the pain is not consistent, but jars me somewhat unexpectedly. Also, it's a throbbing sort of pain, not a steady pain. I don't know if these details make any difference or no. A friend told me to verify that due to the throbbing it doesn't sound like anything vascular. Just checking as I told my friend I would do so.

About the vitamin B12 and D3: What, if any, would be the connection to my circumstance? I love to learn new things, and would like to be more proactive for future.

And...what about an inversion table? That could help with decompression, yes?
Would that be good, possibly, for this nerve thing?

Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Yes throbbing may not necessarily vascular origin.

Vit b 12 and vit d deficiency can make muscle and joint weak.

Yes inversion table may help ,but upto certain limit.
