Suggest Treatment For Pain And Weakness In Legs And Back Pain
Question: Hi Doc, I am 70+ I have been having pains in my legs for last 40 years or so . typically dr. have given B vitamins but it has not helped. Few years back I had heart attack at that time my Dr has given tests for B complex and it emerged that there was heavy deposit of B vitamins.
With age my legs have gone weak and also back pain. Some times I get a feeling that my legs are empoty and there is strenth left.
Kindly advise...

You require detailed evaluation to determine the cause. This would include doing MRI of lumbo-sacral spine (to detect pinched nerve in lower back), nerve conduction studies (to look for nerve damage in legs), blood tests for vitamin D and bone densitometry (DEXA scan to look for osteoporosis).
I am sure with the root cause identified, you can be properly treated.
