Brief Answer:
Pain medications and No further action for now

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that your son has following the trauma to his elbow. The cubital nerve runs superficial at the elbow and probably was affected by the accident. This pain would project to the fourth and fifth fingers and is typical of the cubital nerve injury. There is nothing that can be done and this would resolve slowly over time. If he has severe pains, then Ibuprofen and Tylenol would be able to relief his pains, swelling and help release further pressure on the nerve leading to an improvement in symptoms.

In all, cubital nerve injury and would resolve over time. Pain medications for now would be okay.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
