She is feeling niddle type throbbing pain in her hands from her shoulder to her fingers. the pain is increasing day by day and she is feeling constant niddling throbbing pain in her hand vains. we took her to the same neurologist which we referred for her leg neuro pain. Doctor has prescribed the dosage of Gabantip AT,Maxum,Rabarc-20,Symbal-20 ,Tapfree & Thyrox-50. Even after 12 days of taking these medicines her pain is not reducing. Plz help.

Brief Answer:
It will reduce gradually

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing through HCM.

I have read your query and understood your concerns. Your mother is receiving drugs for neuropathic pain. She has typical symptoms of it and the neurologist is giving the right medications. So don't worry, the pain will reduce within next 1 month, just keep patience.

Make sure that the drugs are taken in right dosage.

Your doctor have written information about increasing the dose specifically. So currently your mother must be taking 2 tablets of symbal 20 mg one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The drugs Gabtip-AT and symbal are important here for reducing the pain. Drugs should be taken in proper dosages. The dose can be increased further. Visit the neurologist again and tell the problem. The neuropathic pain will take time to subside.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have further query then I shall be happy to help. Wish you good health.
