Brief Answer:
Bone loss or osteoporosis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are concerned about bone loss. This could mean that you are at the beginning stage of bone loss called osteopenia but if you have severe bone loss it would be called osteoporosis.

For osteopenia we recommend a diet high in calcium and vitamin D. You can take extra supplements but you will need 1000mg of calcium daily and 800-1000IU of vitamin D. Along with diet and supplements exercise is important in improving bone health.

If you have osteoporosis then in addition to diet, supplements and exerice you would be placed on medication to help like fosamax.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questionsBrief Answer:
Supplements should be lifetime

Detailed Answer:
We believe the supplements should be lifetime use.
