I am a SCI patient (Spinal Cord Injured) since 24-February-2015 and my full body is paralyzed. There is no sensation and movement in my whole body below my shoulder. I am on CIC (Clean Intermittent Catheterization) to empty the urine from bladder.
Me and my wife is planning to increase family and we want to know about all techniques through which we can plan a baby. My wife has no health issues but I am not sure about myself after my accident. We were having 1 yr old baby boy who got expired in accident. My wife had cesarean delivery. Her current age is 33 yrs and mine is 38 yrs.
Can you please let me know in details:
--> What all techniques are there through which we can plan a baby?
--> Tentative expense in each technique?

1) Your sperms can be extracted by a technique called Epidydimal / testicular sperm aspiration. This technique helps to retrieve your sperms.
2) These can be used to fertilize your wife's eggs in laboratory by technique called Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
3) This procedure is done in most IVF centres in XXXXXXX /Noida and XXXXXXX It might cost between 2 to 3 lakh rupees.
4) Alternatively if you wish not to spend more money or the techniques I mentioned, you can opt for Intrauterine insemination (IUI) technique using donor sperms if you both are willing. Cost is around ten thousand rupees only.
