Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!

You are reporting that your boyfriend gets sick and bloated, nauseous and vomiting.
His symptoms may be related with :
- acute stomach infection ( if the symptoms are recently)
- gallbladder issues
- malabsorbtion
This is why I would like to know more about his symptoms:
- how long does he have these symptoms
- does he have diarrhea\ constipation.
- are his symptoms related with particular foods.
Otherwise to my opinion your boyfriend needs to be examined with:

- abdominal ultrasound
- upper endoscopy
- blood work
Meantime he should :
- avoid foods like beans, broccoli, fast foods
- avoid carbonated drinks, alcohol
- avoid sugar and fatty foods
- use simethicone
- increase physical activity.
- use PPI's like prilosec OTC
Hope it was helpful to you.
