Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Cold
Question: my son , autistic spectrum, 48 no other significant health issues[hiatial hernia occasional heart-burn] ; woke up at 1:30 a.m. complaining of slight nausea kind of cold sweatish complaining of very low pain/discomfort [inches above]his pubic area. not exactly his stomach.hi...anyone there?the ad said , " answer in minutes"

Your son could be having Urinary tract infection or UTI. Is he having any fever? Is there any burning while passing urine?
Please get some tests done. CBC is a blood test and Urine for RE, ME and Culture. Also get an Ultrasound done for abdomen and KUB.
You can start giving him Tab Paracetamol 500mg 2 to 3 times a day for the pain. and a lot of oral fluids to clear the Urine.

he does not report of discomfort while urinating...no fever...he has not been in a pool or other swimming facility nor has he ever had any sort of a "relationship"[ with anyone ].he does report several bouts of loose stools.we are on an island...professional care is not easy to obtain

It seems he has mild intestinal infection leading to the symptoms you describe. If you have access to medicines you should start giving him Tab Norfloxacin 400mg & Tab Tinidazole 500mg both twice a day for 5 days. He should be fine with this.
He should have lots of fluids and take healthy diet as he feels. Also his salt intake should be on the higher side than usual.
Do start these medicines and let me know if there are other issues.
