Brief Answer:
nasal bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.

I am sorry to hear that you are having nasal bleeding. I would first ask you to stop the nasacort. The number one reason for nasal bleeding is nasal sprays. I would then continue to use the antibiotic ointment and vicks salve. These will help protect your nasal lining from drying out and bleeding. If these measures do not help then you may need to see an ENT physician to cauterize the area bleeding.

A little trick to help when you are bleeding is to use afrin nasal spray. This will help constrict blood vessels and may stop the bleeding. Do not use it more than 3 days in a row though as you can get addicted to the spray.

Another thing that may help is adding more moisture to the air by using a humidifier at work and home.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions.
