Question: Hi again doc.
You'll be pleased to hear I have deceided to go to a expert in anxiety regarding health issues. However, my anxiety for angina is as great as ever. I have hade several good days without any symptoms, but they re accured yesterday.
So its back online to read about it, and I am sorry- the symptoms are exactly like mine. I took a walk with my dog to day, just to see if it gets worse, and it does. Its like a weight on my chest, not painfull but heavy, and both my arms gets weird, or heavy. I have also experienced strange pains in my jaw and put tpwards my shulders, aslo my back and weirdly around my ears. Also sometimes have numbness around nose and mouth.. Walking the dog kind of made me scared, because the symptoms came more back, and I get dizzy from walking. Not even far.
Its like my arms doesnt get any blood. If you understand?
Howcome I have all the symptoms, but as you know the three cardiologists has not found anything wrong on the stresstest ekg, ekg or ultrasound....
I almost cry because I am scared, I am not feeling good, and I am so sure it is angina and noone believes me. I understand I must sound like a total anxiety case and a dillusional person, but I really am not. But this is just hell for me. It is the physical symptoms that first comes and then my anxiety. Every time. So the days when I have no physical symptoms I dont have any anxiety either...I also understand you must be sick of this questions, so I think as long as I pay for it I dont have to have bad feeling for asking again...

Im sorry- I forgot to say that I sometimes have chestpain, but when I am still, lying on sofa etc. I think these are muscular pains. All over my upper body my muscles are stiff and sore.
I also have tinitus all day.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome back on HCM!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that your symptoms seem to be related to anxiety.

Even though everything you read on the internet seems to be compatible with your symptoms, all your performed cardiac tests have excluded any possible cardiac disorders related to your symptoms (including coronary artery disease).

Dr. Internet is not always the best doctor to consult with, because the information you get is very wide and not based on individual characteristics.

The numbness in your face and arm are not related to coronary artery disease.

They could also be related to low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension (which are triggered by standing up position or walking).

I would recommend measuring your blood pressure in sitting and standing up position for this purpose. A decrease in your blood pressure more than 20mmHg in standing up position compared to sitting position could indicate possible orthostatic hypotension.

From the other hand, anxiety could initiate all these symptoms (it can mimic a cardiac symptomatology as well as other symptoms including the brain, numbness, etc.).

So,coming to this point, the best thing to do is manage your anxiety.

I am glad that you followed my advice to consult with a specialist of this field. You may need to start antidepressant therapy to help you manage these symptoms.

Another test, I would recommend is thyroid hormone levels. It is one of the main causes of tinitus and can also trigger this symptomatology.

Hope to have been helpful!

I am at your disposal whenever you have any other uncertainties!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

P.S.: I do not feel bored by your questions. It is normal trying to take care about your health. As a doctor I respect this behaviour and I am here to help you whenever you need a medical advice.
