Brief Answer:
Pharyngitis- another course of antibiotics.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having sores in throat.

Based on you clinical details, it appears to be acute pharyngitis.

In my opinion, you need to re- consult your treating doctor, as you are resistent to previous medications. Depending in the examination findings ( fungal/ bacterial), treatment can be started.

Most of the throat infections occurs due to viral, which are always self limiting, doesn't require any antibiotics. Reactivation of infection after 7 days, suggests that your infection is resistent and active, requires antibiotics.

Meantime, stop amla ( soar products may increase sores), continue salt water gargling, Take pain killer like tab. Brufen 400mg twice daily.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
flu vaccine-can be taken.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

answers for your queries.

1. No vaccine is 100% safe for everyone. People with allergies to eggs, for example, can't take flu vaccines because eggs are involved in the manufacturing process.

The flu vaccine will protect you for one flu season. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for antibodies to develop in the body and provide protection against influenza virus infection. In the meantime, you are still at risk for getting the flu. That's why it's better to get vaccinated early in the fall, before the flu season really gets under way.

Mild reactions such as soreness, headaches, and fever are common side effects.

2. I have no idea or knowledge about homoeopathic medicine.

3. Traditional flu shots, approved for anyone 6 months and older.

Hope, I have answered your query.

All the best.
