Suggest Treatment For Mild Knee Pain

default
Posted on Thu, 18 Feb 2016
Question: Hello ,
I have been noticing a slight knee pain(left leg) mostly occuring during the driving of a car. This pain aggrevates when I use the cluch pedal quite frequently and feels like the knee is exerting too much pressure during the driving. As manual transmission cars don't have a resuce to avoid peddling the clutch along with the pathetic XXXXXXX traffic which tends to the excessive use of clutch while driving.
Wanted your opinion to get past this issue and any remedial suggestions to relieve me out of this situaltion.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
It is due to weak cartilage ( chondromalacia )

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and It is a very common issue with XXXXXXX conditions. It is most common in obese individuals and specially with vitamin D deficiency. I would suggest you following.
1. Try to keep your sit in such way that angle of knee bending should be hundred or more. Avoid any activity where you need to bend your knee more then 90. Do not do any yoga/squatting exercises at home.
2. Take calcium and vitamin D 3 regularly.
3.Static quadriceps exercises and tablet Dicerin 100 mg per day.
This pain usually improves in some time. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
