Brief Answer:
You should take preventive medications.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and current medication.

First of all, the diagnosis needs to be confirmed. In a case of migraine, the headache lasts for more than four hours; and it is associated with nausea or vomiting. In addition, the headache gets worse on exposure to bright lights or loud noise.

In case of doubt in diagnosis, a brain scan should be done.

If the diagnosis turns out to be migraine, you would need to take preventive medications to reduce the frequency and severity of headaches in future.

Good medication in this category is topiramate.

Vasograin is a pain killer and would not prevent recurrence of headaches.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
