Question: Hello thank you for follow up I still no wiser what is wrong etc. The neurologist that the hospital optemitrist has referred me to has not got back to me yet. I can only assume due to holiday season my Gp States That The Neurologist Seen In October Has Diagnosed Migraines And Incontinence Due To Detruser Muscle Dysfunction. I have been taken of pregabalin but still get pinsand and needles still heavily incontinent and struggle to see in darker areas.

Hi also have not had a BP bloods or any checkup since before incident of visual loss. Only tests was at optemitrist and mri scan that was normal. I feel I am to accept these problems are something I should get used too and accept it is just way it is. I have been told by gp I have had a couple of stressful years. I not deny it I have but believe on the other side and happier and more content than I ever have been. Could these symptoms be psychological I am starting to think I going mad

Hi again and thanks for asking directly.

There is no reason to worry much more than necessary, your condition is not an emergency.

Every health issue has an impact on psychological state of the patient.

In my opinion your condition needs further evaluation by a Neurologist and contrast enhanced MRI.

If these examinations don't show a reliable cause of your symptoms, after that we can say the vision problems may have a psychological cause.

So I recommend you to peace your mind, enjoy the holidays and later you can continue further examinations.

Pregabalin needs time and dose adjustment to give results on symptoms related to peripheral nerves disfunction, if these symptoms are truly caused by peripheral nerves damage.

Hope I helped you. Wishing you good health.
